There's a new Bukowski film, which is being promoted via a Web site.
Bukowski: Born into This is a documentary. You can watch a trailer at the Site. It looks great. A classic American artist's tribute. Lots of interviews with the wretched famous.
I read everything by Bukowski I could get my hands on when I was an undergraduate. Unfortunately, when I moved overseas, those precious volumes were lost. So I don't have them anymore. Sigh.

This came out quite a while ago, in fact, I think it screened on SBS. It was pretty interesting, a lot of new footage. I'm not a big Bukowski fan (doesn't anyone realise he's not a very good writer?) but this does him justice.
